House Auction & Market Day - Special Event!
The MHS Foundation are proud to present a special House Auction & Market event to take place at Massey High School on Saturday 28th March from 10.30am - 2.00pm.  This event will include the auctioning of a 65 sqm house (which can be viewed during the event) kindly donated by Craig Walker Building Removals.

James Ioelu Live in Concert
Winner of the New Zealand ARIA and runner up in the Sydney Eisteddford, James Ioelu has recently returned from an international tour where he was invited to play the lead role in 'Don Pasquale' with the San Francisco Opera.
James will treat us to a varied concert of both classical and lighter genres on Sunday 8th March at 4pm in the Bruce Ritchie Performing Arts Centre.  Tickets cost $30 for Adults, $10 for Students.  For pre-bookings, please email
Entertainment Books 2015 - On Sale Soon!
Massey High School will be selling the new 2015 Entertainment Books and Digital Books from Tuesday 28th April.  We are accepting pre-sales and providing some great advanced bonus offers from Monday 9th March.  Books cost only $65, your purchase will raise $13 for our school and contribute towards the development of a new IT Academy.  For more information, please email or phone (09) 831 0528.
MHS Foundation Rewarding Alumni Success

We would like to thank everyone who helped make the Alumni Luncheon a huge success.  We had more than 140 guests attend what will be considered a highlight for 2014.  We wish to congratulate Craig Walker and Grant Lupton on their induction into the MHS Alumni Hall of Fame.  We also want to thank all the donors and sponsors who helped us raise vital funds towards special 2015 projects.  A video of the speeches is available at

The MHS Foundation is a charitable trust established to provide opportunities to ensure students succeed. They provide regular events and scholarships.  To do this they rely on community generosity. Bruce Ritchie Performing Arts Centre

This venue is available for community use during weeknights, weekends or school holidays. Performing in a theatre environment provides a great experience for the community. Groups have access to a backstage area, full sound and lighting rigs and perfect acoustics. The PAC is great for business seminars, cultural performances, fashion shows or meetings.  If your group is looking to host a special event this could be the venue for you.  Please contact Sheryl Watson via email or phone (09) 831 0500 ext 644.

Open Home at Massey High School
To promote our upcoming House Auction & Market Day event on 28th March, Bayleys Westgate will be running two Open Homes at Massey High School on Wednesday 18th and 25th March from 4.30 - 6.30pm.  Please come along and view the house which will be auctioned at our school.
Welcome New Principal - Glen Denham
Massey High School is pleased to announce, and welcome our new Principal, Mr Glen Denham.  Mr Denham is a New Zealander who was Principal of the Oasis Academy, Shirley Park in Croydon, London.  He has established an outstanding record of educational achievement in his time in the UK.  He is also a keen sportsman, and former Captain of the NZ Tall Blacks (their longest serving captain).  Welcome to MHS Mr Denham, best wishes for a rewarding time as Principal of our great school.
Congratulations Massey High School Scholars
We would like to congratulate our scholars of 2014.  They were honored at a special assembly in the Bruce Ritchie Performing Arts Centre on Friday 20th February.
Massey High School Golf Team Success
Congratulations to Tadhg Campbell, Jake Meenhorst, Kevin Koong and Jake Lee who competed at the New Zealand Secondary Schools 2014 Golf Championships in Taupo on 1st September.  They are now the NZ Champions.  We would also like to congratulate Tadhg who has been selected to represent NZ in the Srixon International Junior Strokeplay Champs in Australia this October.
